About Dr. Riaz Ahmed Memon
Dr. Riaz Ahmed Memon is an experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist and Specialist in Glaucoma and Medical Retina, with extensive clinical and surgical experience spanning more than two decades. He currently serves as a Consultant Ophthalmologist at POB Eye Hospital, Karachi, and has previously worked at leading ophthalmic and tertiary-care institutions in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
Dr. Riaz has extensive experience in the medical and surgical management of glaucoma, retinal diseases, cataract, and other complex eye conditions. His surgical experience includes more than 4,000 phacoemulsification procedures, over 2,000 ECCE procedures, and more than 4,000 retinal laser PRP and Grid procedures.
Alongside his clinical practice, he has contributed to ophthalmic education as an examiner, clinical teacher, and surgical mentor for ophthalmology residents and medical students.
